The definition of cyberbullying and its types were considered by the participants of the practical class “World Practices of Combating Cyberbullying”. The students of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs learned about effective global practices of combating online bullying, and focused onits statistics of the recent years.
The participants concentrated on countering cyberbullying in Sweden, Japan, Great Britain, Italy and Spain. They worked with cards on different types of digital aggression and considered thesituations according to which they should distinguish a joke from bullying and flaming. The students came to the conclusion that currently there is no universal model of cyberbullying countermeasures, but the most effective means are preventive measures.
The event was organized and conducted by the specialists of the international cooperation department of the DonSUIA within the framework of All-Ukrainian action “16 days against violence”.
