The studentsof Faculty No. 2 of the DonSUIA interviewed the residents of Kropyvnytskyi and determined their level of awarenessconcerning theimplementation of state policy in the field of prevention and counteraction of domestic violence, the existence of mechanisms for providing assistance to victims both at the national level and at the level of the city of Kropyvnytskyi community.
“The Map of Security” event was held as a part of the All-Ukrainian campaign “16 Days Against Violence” with the assistance of the Social Policy Department of the Kropyvnytskyi City Council.
The results of the survey conducted by the cadets will be summarized and will form the basis of local policy in the field of combating domestic violence. Each respondent received information materials under the сodename “The Map of Security “with practical advice and contacts of services that provide assistance in such cases.
Public awareness ofexisting mechanisms for preventing and countering domestic and gender-based violence is an effective tool for eradicating such phenomena in our society. Being aware means being protected!
