The three-day training was conducted by highly professional international experts with many years of practical experience in various governmental positions. The event was organized with the assistance of the Swiss non-governmental organization “International Projects”. Similar trainings have already been held in more than 70 countries of the world.
During the first seminar “Responsible, corruption-free administration in the wartime and after the war”, the participants defined the concept of the leadership, considered its background : creating a vision, conveying it efficiently and maintaining attention. The term “principle” was considered as well as its connection with the success of management. Eight main features of the leader’s character and their application were outlined.
The second seminar was held on the topic “Responsible leadership and ethics. Prevention of corruption”. The speakers regarded the concept of corruption. During the discussion, the participants came to the conclusion that it creates lack of trust in both public and private institutions. The key to the success is strengthening public confidence in order to obtain the necessary agreement The factors that lead a person to errors were analyzed in a practical aspect.
Models of creating the society and the state free from corruption, as well as the impact of overcoming it on creating a healthy family and a personality formation, were considered during the third seminar “Benefits of overcoming corruption for the state, enterprise, family and personality”. Special attention was paid to professional standards.
Concluding the training, the participants discussed the experience of Ukraine in anti-corruption activities, outlined further steps to overcome corruption. Kateryna Udod, the commissioner for anti-corruption activities of the DonSUIA, took an active part in the discussion.
The training was initiated by Viktoriia Moskalenko, the head of the international cooperation unit of the University. According to the results of participation, the representatives of HEI will receive certificates of the international standard.
