Arm wrestling, pull-up on the bar, kettlebells (guard jerk), power triathlon, tug-of-war, athletics relay, and military training competition – those are the sports, the cadets competed for the Rector’s Cup.
The event was held on the occasion of the second anniversary of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs being granted the University status. The aim is to promote and develop healthy lifestyle, physical culture, and sports in the youth environment.
In the individual competition, the cadets of the Faculty of Specialist Training for Pretrial Investigation Units (№1) won 26 awards (15 gold, 9 silver, and 2 bronze), the Faculty of Specialist Training for Preventive Activities (№2) won 26 awards (7 gold, 8 silver, and 11 bronze); of the Faculty of Specialist Training for Criminal Police Units (№ 3) – 30 awards (8 gold, 8 silver, and 14 bronze).
The representatives of Faculty № 1 got the first team place (gold) and the Rector’s Cup, silver – Faculty № 3, and bronze – Faculty № 2.
