With the support of the ICITAP international program and the department of preventive activities of the National Police of Ukraine, seconded staffers of the National Police of Ukraine underwent training in specialization “Community Police Officer” at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
93 human rights defenders from 9 regions of Ukraine have obtained theoretical and practical skills for 75 days under the guidance of experienced University instructors, trainers of partner institutions and staffers of the National Police of Ukraine.
The officers were congratulated on the successful completion of their training by: vice-rector of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, police lieutenant colonel Ruslan Vradii, head of the Main Office of the National Police in the Kirovohrad region, police colonel Roman Koziakov, head of the unit of interaction with communities of the department of preventive activities of the National Police of Ukraine, police major Maiia Breslavska, representatives of the regional ICITAP office, adviser of the mission in Ukraine Hary Bullard and adviser on law enforcement issues Aleksandr Bolkvadze.
The law enforcement officers thanked their mentors for the obtained knowledge and took a general memory photo.
