A training camp for 50 young boys and girls from ten regions of Ukraine has begun at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs. The future law enforcement officers will receive higher education in the specialty “Law Enforcement Activities” at the expense of the state budget.
The training camp is an important stage of adaptation to studying at a higher education institution with specific learning conditions, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Its program is aimed at increasing motivation to master knowledge and skills for their future profession of a law enforcement officer.
For two weeks, first-year students will be undergoing training that includes physical, special, fire and drill training, familiarization with the regulatory framework that regulates the work of the National Police of Ukraine, as well as training in providing first aid. Special attention will be paid to patriotic education, the formation of moral and ethical values, professional and civic qualities, dedication to service, and psychological resilience.
