The first coordination meeting and introductory training on compliance management within the framework of the EUComplianceM4UA ERASMUS-EDU-2024-CBHE #101179706 project took place in the city of Wismar (Germany).
The initiative is being implemented by the ERASMUS+ program of the European Union and is aimed at improving cooperation between higher education institutions of Ukraine and the EU in the field of higher education.
Acting first vice-rector Hanna Buha, acting head of the scientific work organization department Iryna Syrmamiikh, head of the research laboratory for preventing criminal offenses Tetiana Ponomariova; head of the international cooperation unit Viktoria Moskalenko represented the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs at the event.
Representatives of the project coordinator, partner higher education institutions and experts addressed those present with welcome speeches. The participants discussed the program plan, some issues of financial management, communication strategy, creation of long-term perspectives for the implementation of the project in Ukraine. They also created the Steering Committee, the Quality Team and approved the project management manual.
The DonSUIA delegates participated in a series of thematic educational sessions: legal and regulatory aspects of compliance management (UPT, Portugal); business ethics and corporate behavior (VŠCHT Praha, Czech Republic); business management (WSPA, Poland).
They admitted that participation in the project opens up new opportunities for the University, specifically: integration of modern European compliance management practices into the educational process; development of international cooperation, creation of innovative approaches to educational management, improving the quality of educational services and academic integrity.
EUComplianceM4UA ERASMUS-EDU-2024-CBHE #101179706 is an important step to strengthen the DonSUIA position as a modern, innovative higher education institution that strives for integration into the international educational space.
