The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs hosted a meeting “Ready-made solutions for interaction – Employment. Assistance. National and patriotic education of youth”, dedicated to supporting war veterans through educational and professional opportunities.
The main theme of the event is promoting employment at the University for veterans and people with disabilities as a result of war.
The DonSUIA offers vacancies in the field of administrative, scientific-pedagogical and financial-economic work, and also supports obtaining higher education in relevant specialties: law, law enforcement, economics, psychology, public administration.
The University vice-rector Ruslan Vradii, emphasized that the University is open to veterans not only as an educational institution, but also as an employer: “We create conditions where veterans can realize themselves, develop, and share their experience with young people.” The dean of the faculty of Law, Management and Economic Security, Volodymyr Buha, outlined in detail the mechanisms for admission and further employment.
The meeting was attended by veterans, representatives of the student and cadet self-government, as well as by People’s Deputy, Honorary President of the Strongman Federation of Ukraine Vasyl Virastiuk, and head of the regional branch of the Federation Oleksandr Lashyn.
The event ended with warm words of gratitude and presentation of commemorative amulets that the cadets had woven themselves – as a symbol of respect and support.
