Higher education seekers of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, led by Rector Serhii Vitvitskyi, joined citywide events in Kropyvnytskyi to celebrate Ukrainian Statehood Day.
Together with the leaders of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, the Kropyvnytskyi City Council, representatives of law enforcement agencies, and the active community, those present laid flowers at the monument to Taras Shevchenko and other prominent figures in Ukrainian statehood. They honored the memory of those who died in the full-scale war of the russian federation against Ukraine with a minute of silence, remembering all Ukrainians and heroic defenders who gave their lives for independence.
During the celebrations, regional leaders – Andrii Raikovych, head of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration, and Yurii Drozd, chairman of the regional council – presented regional awards to active members of the community.
