The educators of Kropyvnytskyi handed over 270 meters of camouflage netting to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the 270th anniversary since the city was founded. This was preceded by active work. During this summer, teams of educational institutions produced more than 1,620 square meters of camouflage nets. Among the most active participants of the volunteer movement are the staff and higher education seekers of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs. The largest of the camouflage nets was made by the volunteers, the staff and higher education seekers of the DonSUIA – activists of the Volunteer Headquarters “KryvbasPalianytsia”, which operates at the basis of the DonSUIA in Kryvyi Rih. Its size are more than 80 square meters.
Deputy mayor Oleksandr Mosin thanked all participants of the volunteer action: “Kropyvnytskyi is said to be a city of hard working people, a city of warriors, and a city of volunteers. And for good reason, because we have an extremely big potential of the volunteer community. The educators reported that they wove 270 meters of nets, but they did not say that they had actually done much more work, because one has to keep in mind those who prepared and transported the materials, who donated for them. These nets will go to the front to protect the equipment of our defenders. Glory to our educators, glory to our soldiers, and glory to Ukraine!”
It is symbolic that during the event a white stork landed on the square in front of the city council. Those present noted that this symbolizes Victory!
