Public discussions on the concept of the educational and professional program of the specialty 053 “Psychology”, specialization: “Legal Psychology” were held at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
The event was attended by representatives of the Central Ukrainian State University named after Volodymyr Vynnychenko, the Kropyvnytskyi Institute of State and Municipal Administration, the Regional Resource Center for Assistance to ATO participants and temporarily displaced persons, the mobile team of social and psychological assistance to victims of domestic and gender-based violence and other educational institutions, public institutions, public organizations.
Military psychologist Rustam Taranenko emphasized the importance of training specialists-practitioners in providing qualified assistance to servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Lilia Klochek, the vice-rector of the Central Ukrainian State University named after Volodymyr Vynnychenko, accentuated on large-scale consequences of the war on the social health of the population, which prompts the need to train specialists in the field of crisis psychology.
The concept of the educational program proposed by the representatives of the DonSUIA aroused lively interest of the community, which indicates a high social demand for highly qualified specialists in legal psychology.
