Representatives of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs established cooperation in the field of sports rehabilitation and socialization of military personnel with one more medical institution in Kropyvnytskyi.
Head of special physical and pre-medical training department Ihor Shostak together with the doctors defined the plan and schedule of further work. During their meeting, he and cadets of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation units held a session of playing chess and checkers for wounded soldiers. This contributes to the improvement of fine motor skills and the development of logical thinking.
According to the results of the tournaments, the determined winners and prize-winners received gifts, diplomas and medals from the “Defender” sports club.
Volunteer assistance is provided within the framework of the “Friendly Support” and “Support of the relocated Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs” projects, which are implemented with the financial assistance of the European Union.
