An instructor in sapper training of the public organization “Ukrainian Association of Combatants and Volunteers of ATO in the Kirovohrad region”, combatant, director of Znamianka city sports and technical club of the Society for the Promotion of Defense of Ukraine Volodymyr Kolebidenko (pseudonym “Director”) conducted an optional practical class for the cadets of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
The purpose of the training is to increase the level of police officers’ professional training by acquiring practical skills in detecting explosive objects in real conditions.
The cadets of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation units familiarized themselves with: security measures in the cause police officers’ inspecting the premises; actions in the areas of possible contamination by explosive objects; methods of setting and detecting mine traps and improvised explosive devices, etc.
Volodymyr Kolebidenko emphasized the importance of paying attention to details during the service, the ability to analyze the situation, thinking about further actions and ways of retreat. He emphasized that thorough theoretical knowledge and practical skills are the key to saving the lives of both law enforcement officers and citizens.
The class took place within the educational discipline “Tactical-special training”.
