At the beginning of the DonSUIA regular meeting of the Academic Council, rector Serhii Vitvitskyi congratulated some representatives of the University scientific and pedagogical staff on receiving academic titles.
According to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated December 10, 2024. No. 1721, Demyd Morozov was awarded the academic title of an associate professor of the department of operational investigation and information security; Anni Abdel Fatah was awarded the academic title of an associate professor of the department of civil and economic law; Valentyna Grankina was awarded the academic title of an associate professor of the department of criminal law.
The first priority for the members of the Academic Council was discussing the analysis of a career orientation work of the University units for the 1st semester of 2024/2025.
The participants of the meeting considered the results of the University financial and economic activities in 2024 and the results of higher education seekers’ survey regarding the quality of the DonSUIA educational process in the 1st semester of 2024/2025 academic year.
The following issue were also raised: awarding the academic title of an associate professor at the department of foreign languages; nominating a research for awarding the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Prize to young scientists; selecting candidates from among the DonSUIA graduates of the first (bachelor’s) higher education level for the appointment of a scholarship of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine named after Denys Monastyrskyi; introducing changes to section 2 of the University scientific – research plan for 2025; formation of a one-time specialized academic council of a 4-th year part- time post-graduate student in specialty 081 “Law”; consideration and approval of the Declaration on the observance of academic integrity by scientific and pedagogical staffers and the Declaration on the observance of academic integrity by higher education seekers; transferring the results of the USQE of the second (master’s) level higher education seekers to specialties of the ECTS rating; re-approval of the dissertation theme of a 2nd year part- time post-graduate student (at the expense of individual and/or legal entities), specialty 262.
