During the meeting, members of the Academic Council of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs primarily discussed the work of the Academic Council of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs in 2024 and the prospects for its activity in 2025.
They regarded the results of research and editorial and publishing work in 2024, determined priority measures for filling vacant university positions in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to ensure educational activities.
Particular attention was paid to the organization of upgrading qualification of the DonSUIA scientific and pedagogical staffers in the 2024-2025 academic year and to the results of rector’s control regarding the DonSUIA students’ level of knowledge.
The members of the Academic Council also considered: creation of the Veterans Hub and the Center for National Patriotic Education on the basis of the DonSUIA, as well as the approval of the Regulation on the Veterans Hub and the Center for National Patriotic Education of the DonSUIA; approval of the Plan for writing and preparing for printing textbooks, teaching aids of the DonSUIA for 2025; introducing changes and approving the updated version of the DonSUIA Provisions; formation of a one-time Specialized Academic Council for the defense of a dissertation in specialty 081 “Law”; approval of individual plans for educational and scientific work of post-graduates of the correspondence form of education; recognition (confirmation) of the results of upgrading qualification of the DonSUIA scientific-pedagogical and pedagogical staffers, certain types of their activities as upgrading qualification in accordance with the Resolution of the CMU dated 21.08.2019 No. 800 “Some issues of improving the qualification of pedagogical and research-pedagogical staffers”; approval of professional training programs for police officers; permission for higher education seekers of faculty No. 2 KRESI DonSUIA to take attestation exams online due to exceptional circumstances; introducing changes to the staff of the editorial board of a scientific works collection “Legal Journal of Donbass” DonSUIA.

Didorenko” issue 4 (108) 2024; a journal “Bulletin on exchange of work experience” No. 1-2 2024 with the seal of secrecy “Confidential”; a training manual “Criminal procedural measures to prevent criminal offenses in the field of execution of punishments”; scientific and practical recommendations “Criminological characteristics and prevention of organized crime”; a collection of materials of the 10th All-Ukrainian scientific conference of young scientists “Actual issues of administrative law and process under martial law” (Kropyvnytskyi, December 6, 2024); a collection of materials of the All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference “Human rights during the legal regime of martial law” (correspondence form) (Kropyvnytskyi, December 10, 2024).
