The rector of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, Serhii Vitvitsky, took part in a joint career oriented meeting of the heads of higher, pre-higher and secondary educational institutions in the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration.
The moderator of the event, the deputy head of the Kirovohrad RMA, Kateryna Koltunova, presented the project “Our people in the region” to the meeting participants.
Its goal is to increase the number of school graduates who will obtain higher education and work in the Kirovohrad region.
Elsa Leshchenko, head of the Department of Education and Science of the Kirovohrad RMA, emphasized on career guidance cooperation between educational institutions of the region in order to improve the indicators of the entrance campaign. Heads of educational institutions, which are currently located in our region, presented their institutions and talked about the conditions and prospects of education.
During his speech, Serhii Vitvitskyi presented a video clip of the DonSUIA, and noted that despite the fourth transfer, the University managed to preserve its potential and increase it. Currently, the main base of the institution is in Kropyvnytskyi, where it operates at three locations.
This provides a full-fledged educational process for higher education seekers at four faculties. In this academic year, representatives of 22 regions of Ukraine entered the DonSUIA. Kateryna Koltunova set as an example the approach of the DonSUIA to the entrance campaign and the involvement of cadets and students in this work. She noted the communication of the University with representatives of public organizations and communities, young people, and the deputy corps of Kropyvnytskyi And holding powerful forums, meetings, educational campaigns on gender issues and combating domestic violence on the basis of the University is, in her opinion, an indicator of the use of the latest approaches in the educational process.
