The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs conducts classes for seconded staffers of the National Police of Ukraine specializing in “Community Police Officer”.
The profile specialized educational and professional training program provides for mastering the norms and requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine.
Students study in the areas of: qualification of criminal offenses, criminal proceedings, application of the Code of Ukraine on administrative offenses, organizational and legal principles of community police officer’s activity, preventive and psychological activity, protection of the rights and legitimate interests of children, prevention of domestic violence, road safety.
Qualified trainers from the staff of the DonSUIA and the National Police of Ukraine pay special attention to the disciplines that help to acquire and improve professional skills in pre-medical, fire and tactical training, explosives and emergency driving.
The project is implemented with the support of the ICITAP international program and the department of preventive activities of the National Police of Ukraine.
