Since August 19, officers of the Educational Security Service began working in secondary education institutions of 20 regions of Ukraine.
Out of 404 inspectors who have undergone specialized training at higher education institutions with specific training conditions, the most numerous are graduates of the first enrollment of PSS officers of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
Law enforcement officers of the Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Kirovograd, Mykolaiiv, Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk regions acquired professional skills and experience under the guidance of scientific and pedagogical staffers of the faculties of training specialists for the National Police units and training specialists of law and law enforcement activities of the DonSUIA, practical staffers of the National Police and representatives of the Red Cross of Ukraine.
The project is being implemented at the initiative of the state authorities and the participation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the National Police. Its goal is to protect children at schools in the conditions of a full-scale war and create a security environment.
“By the end of 2024, we will cover up to 2,000 schools with PSS officers. Our goal is to make every participant of the educational process feel protected, “the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko emphasized during the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine in Kropyvnytskyi.
