University graduates Anastasia Svystoniuk, Serhii Symonov and Roman Vilianov took part in the meeting with the administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyi talked with the young people.The boys and girls were awarded valuable gifts for their heroic deeds during the war.
“Today is the 300th day of the war and it is quite significant. Usually, on such dates, we identify the milestones in this great ongoing war. And today I would like not only to award you, but also just to chat. This is a good opportunity for me to hear you, learn about your views, and to talk frankly about the issues that concern you,” Denys Monastyrskyi mentioned.
Upon the whole ten representatives of higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took part in the meeting. These are future policemen, border guards, guards and rescuers.
The students told their stories, they talked about their studying, war, weapon circulation. Denys Monastyrskyi thanked boys and girls for their heroic deeds.
Anastasiya Svystoniuk, a second-year cadet of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Preventive Activity Units, provided the first aid to an injured man who felt bad while crossing the road with traffic in the city of Kropyvnytskyi.
Serhii Simonov, a 2nd-year cadet of the Faculty of Training Specialists for National Police Units of the Ukrainian National Police Service, detained a man who was carrying drugs.
Roman Vilianov, a 3rd-year cadet of the Faculty of Training Specialists for National Police Units of the Ukrainian National Police, prevented a woman from committing suicide by pulling her out of the river.
DonSUIA congratulates the cadets-heroes and wishes the students to gain new achievements in their service for the benefit of the Ukrainian people.
