At the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, special attention is paid to higher education seekers’ acquiring practical skills, which are based on the military component.
Cadets of the faculty of Training Specialists for Preventive Activity Units were instructed in firearms, tactical, pre-medical and military activities at a special training ground.
Boys and girls practiced the following skills: stages of sapper, engineering, fire and sniper training; assault on fortified positions; small group operations in different terrain areas and within the MARCH algorithm; use of UAVs for reconnaissance and combat purposes, etc.
The training involved professional instructors with experience in combat operations. Most of them are currently undergoing rehabilitation after being wounded.
The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs thanks the personnel of: Kropyvnytskyi battalion of the 3031st NGU, 95th Air Assault Polissia Brigade; 73rd Naval Special Operations Center named after Antin Holovatyi; Special Operations Battalion “Aeneas” of the NPU Separate Assault Brigade “Liut”; the 121st Territorial Defense Brigade of AFU; the Rapid Operational Response Unit of the HONP of the Kirovohrad Region and all those who transfer their knowledge, patriotism, energy and experience to the younger generation of law enforcement officers.
