Today, a new academic year started at the DonSUIA. Members of administration and the staff, higher education seekers lined up in the campus of the University in Kropyvnytskyi, Kryvyi Rih and Ivano-Frankivsk. This year, 365 cadets and more than 400 students from almost all regions of Ukraine entered the University. The Rector of the DonSUIA, Serhii Vitvitsky, thanked first-year students for their decision to study at a higher educational institution with specific study conditions. This testifies to the courage and readiness of the young generation of Ukrainians for today’s challenges.
A symbolic key to knowledge and a student card were received by Taisiia Atroshchenko, a cadet of the faculty of Training Specialists for Pretrial Investigation Units, and Vladyslav Kukharenko, a student of the faculty of Law, Management and Economic Security Training.
On behalf of the Collegium of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko congratulated cadets and students on the holiday: “…We support your conscious choice and hope that from now on future policemen, rescuers, border guards and national guardsmen will be united by diligent and intensive training. You must become the best ones, because after our Victory, it will be up to you to ensure security, peace and harmony in the country that will be in the process of restoring.
Those present bowed their heads during the minute of silence in memory of those who gave their lives for freedom and independence of the country.
The event ended with the performance of the Drummers Ensemble, the performance of the University anthem and a ceremonial march of cadets.
