The academic staff, cadets and students of the DonSUIA dressed in national clothes as a symbol of the identity and indomitability of Ukrainian people.
In Kropyvnytskyi, Kryvyi Kih and Ivano-Frankivsk patriotic photo sessions had been held throughout the day. The cadets and students took part in city-wide and university events that combined customs, culture and traditions of the Ukrainians of the past and present.
In the exhibition hall of the creative space “Pectoral” of the Kirovohrad Regional Center for Folk Art, cadets and students viewed the exposition of the exhibition “My mother sewed a shirt for me…”
The patriotic campaign “Vyshyvanka Day” was held in the library of the University for cadets of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation units.
The staffers, cadets and students of the KRESI DonSUIA joined the city procession in vyshyvankas. 100 cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for the National Police units held a flashmob and unfurled a 100-meter Ukrainian flag in the city center of Kryvyi Rih.
The lecturers of foreign languages of the LESI named after E.O. Didorenko held an English-language educational event «Happy Vyshyvanka Day» for first-year cadets. As part of the event different competitions were held «The best photo in Vyshyvanka», «Ukrainian poetry in English» and thematic hour «Put on Vyshyvanka – make this day brighter!»
The cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Police Units attended the educational event “Vysyvanka as a Mascot” at the cultural and educational center “Honcharenko Center of Education and Culture” and together with the lecturers joined a flashmob reciting a poem by the poet Halyna Ptashnyk.
