The event took place on July 23 – on the 150th day war of Russia on the territory of Ukraine. It brought together speakers from all over the world. The best cadets of the University presented institutions of higher education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the Second Summit of the First Ladies and Gentelmen.
It is a great honour and outstanding event not only for cadets and the University but for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine as well.
This is Bohdan Symutin who together with his brother evacuated organizational documentation of the faculty №2 from Mariupol, that allowed to deploy the full-fledged activity of the University in a new place of dislocation in the shortest terms, to start full- time trainings of cadets and to carry out early release.
This is Dmytro Alita who got behind the evacuation bus wheel and in the general convoy of motor vehicles of the University transported around 60 000 of cadets from Mariupol to Kryvyi Rih having reached more than 500 km at night time.
This is Mariia Salamatina who provided all possible organizational and urgent measures on transfer of the University staff to Kryvyi Rih, further to Kropyvnytskyi. In this city the University continues its educational and scientific activity.
The Second Summit of the First Ladies and Gentlemen attracted world`s attention to the war which continues already 5 months in the center of Europe. It ruins Ukrainian cities and villages, the most terrible thing is human life. This is the reason why the main topic of this year`s event was the human.
Mrs. Olena Zelenska indicated the preservation and restoration of human capital is the key to the successful reconstruction of the country.
The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs is grateful to the First Lady of Ukraine for attention and the possibility to listen and be heard, for participation in the education of a new generation of law enforcement officers.
From the first days of the war, the students of higher education of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs are aimed at victory, at the reconstruction of the state, because it will be necessary for them to build and restore, defend and protect a new, strong, independent and free Ukraine!
