The event brought together representatives of state authorities and local self-government, the youth council and children’s parliament, students of higher educational institutions of Ukraine. The participants discussed current issues of youth employment and economic security of business entities in today’s conditions, the involvement of youth in the implementation of legal policy of the state and legal foundations of the development of civil society in the post-war period.
The University vice-rector Olena Volobuieva opened the student scientific forum and welcomed the participants on behalf of the rector of DonSUIA Serhii Vitvitskyi. She noted that the event is an opportunity to exchange opinions, scientific findings, outline current problems of the youth in the theoretical and practical areas in the conditions of martial law, and suggest the ways of solving them as well as the proposals regarding the norms of the current legislation.
Yurii Danko, vice-rector for scientific and international activities of the Sumy National Agrarian University; Viktor Janyshen head of the legal clinic of the National University of Law named after Yaroslav the Wise; Mykola Shamshur, deputy head of the South-Eastern Interregional Department of the State Labor Service; Oleksandr Kashlakov, head of the NGO “JCC” “Zadzerkallia”; head of the youth council of Mariupol Alina Kozytska; Michael Stone, first deputy head of the Youth Council of Kirovohrad region; Iryna Zavrazhna, coordinator of the children’s parliament of Kropyvnytskyi; associate professor of the faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Technologies of the Central Ukrainian State University named after Volodymyr Vynnychenko Oksana Butkevich greeted those present.
Based on the results of the forum, a resolution will be formed, which will include scientific conclusions and legislative proposals suggested by the participants in their theses and reports, presented during the plenary session.
Administration of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs thanks all the participants of the student forum for their fruitful work and expresses hope that the event will outline new ways of strengthening Ukrainian statehood.
