On May 16, the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs hosted the presentation of a student photo exhibition “Ukrainian Vyshyvanka as a genetic code of the nation”.
The purpose of the event is to expand the idea of Vyshyvanka as a form of art, and to promote the development of aesthetic taste and creative thinking of young people.
The authors of the photos are students of the faculty of training specialists in management, law and economic security. Their photographs show national symbols through the prism of modernity.
Yehor Nazymko, first vice-rector of the DonSUIA, opened the exhibition: “We are all different, but we are united by national values. Young people are a talented driving force of the University, they are patriots of our country, its bright promising future. May Vyshyvanka always protect you and your families.”
The event was organized by the department of civil, labor and social security law of the DonSUIA. The exhibition will last two weeks.
