Master students of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation units in specialty 081 “Law” have undergone their internship in the territorial units of the National Police of Ukraine which has lasted three months.
They demonstrated the acquired knowledge and skills to the commission members, which included academic and pedagogical staff of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs and the staffers of practical units of the National Police.
The defense also included a practical stage in the form of a police quest. In accordance with the expanded training plots of committed criminal offenses, the police officers performed the tasks that consisted in testing their ability to conduct specific investigative (search) actions and plan a pre-trial investigation.
“Theoretical knowledge and practical application of the norms of criminal and criminal procedural law is an important component of investigating particularly serious crimes”, emphasized deputy head of the unit of investigatin particularly serious crimes at the investigative department of the Main Office of the National Police in the Kirovohrad Region, police major Volodymyr Bierkov.
