Twice a week for two months during off-line classes DonSUIA philologists will teachgrammar and how to freely express thoughts, write business papers, resumes I Ukrainian.
A Kropyvnytskyi poet Oleksandr Braverman became a listener of free courses for the second time to improve the level of his command of the state language.
Oleksandr attended the first lecture with his son Sviatoslav, who will help his father in speaking practice in the future.
The group consists of 25 listeners. Their number is conditioned by a desire of the linguists to help the listeners master the information the best possible way.
“The duration of the lesson is 1 hour and 20 minutes. During the first block, we will introduce spelling rules, do grammar exercises. The second block will be presented in the form of a dialogue. The conversation will be about prominent Ukrainian writers, the country’s cultural heritage. We will discuss these and other topics with our listeners,” said Yuliia Korotkova, professor of the Department of Social Subjects and Humanities.
Each course listener has his\her own reason for improving the level of his\her native language command, but they are united by one thing – love for Ukraine and the desire to eradicate from their lexicon the language of the country-aggressor.
The project will last till the end of May.
