Within the framework of the „Study Tours to Poland” program, Anzhela Helbak, Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, Candidate of Psychology, and Halyna Mukhina, Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, visited Warsaw.
The purpose of the visit is to support displaced Ukrainian universities in postgraduate education, including organizing work to improve the skills and qualifications of academic staff.
As part of the program, the scientists learned about the main directions of educational reforms in Poland, standards of teacher training, organization of education in Ukrainian and Polish lyceums, innovative technologies and teaching methods.
Anzhela Helbak and Halyna Mukhina met with leaders of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation, the Good Education Foundation, and the University of Warsaw, and visited a Ukrainian school that operates under two national programs.
During the educational tour, the scientists adopted progressive European experience and received certificates of successful completion of the Study Tours to Poland Program.
The acquired knowledge will be used in the development of training programs for participants in the educational process, raising the level of the students’ professional competencies at the School of Pedagogical Excellence, teaching and improving professional disciplines.
The visit was organized by the Foundation of Polish Rectors in cooperation with the Polish-American Freedom Foundation, the Good Education Foundation, and the University of Warsaw with the support of the Fulbright Program Offices in Ukraine and Poland.
