A monograph «Forensic teaching on collection, investigation and use of evidence in criminal proceedings» by candidate of legal sciences, associate professor Artem Kovalenko has been published in the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
In his work, senior researcher of the scientific research laboratory of communities’ public security at the faculty of training specialists for the units of preventive activity disclosed conceptual methodological provisions of a specific forensic teaching on collection, investigation and use of evidence in criminal proceedings.
Artem Kovalenko also presented his own view on the content and components of proof activities according to the current model of domestic criminal process. He proposed a forensic classification of evidence and defined the place of forensic tools in the system of criminal procedural evidence. In addition, the author disclosed in detail the essence and procedural and forensic means of collecting, investigating and using evidence.
The monograph is intended for scientists, post-graduate students (adjuncts), higher education seekers, as well as of those working in pre-trial investigation bodies, prosecutors, lawyers, judges.
