Higher education seekers of the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units, together with staffers of the public relations unit of the Patrol Police Department in Kirovohrad region, carried out preventive measures to prevent road accidents. They reminded the students of the Kropyvnytskyi Agricultural College of traffic rules for pedestrians and drivers. Boys and girls tried on special alcohol goggles “Drunk Busters”, which simulate the perception of the world through the eyes of an intoxicated person. The students performed exercises to test the coordination of movements and got convinced that a drunk driver is dangerous.
The law enforcement officers also told the residents and guests of Kropyvnytskyi about the importance of wearing reflective elements in the dark and in conditions of insufficient visibility.
Besides, the higher education seekers, together with patrol policemen, conducted a master class on the manufacture of reflector flickers for children of the “Lastivka” kindergarten. The little ones willingly joined this activity and immediately placed a useful accessory on their clothes. At the end of the meeting, the law enforcement officers explained the children in the form of a game how to cross the road correctly.
Higher education seekers of the faculty of training specialists for the National Police units of the KRESI DonSUIA held a themed educational hour for schoolchildren of Gymnasium No. 16 in Kryvyi Rih. The cadets invited boys and girls to join them in solving crosswords based on their knowledge of road signs. The gymnasium students also visited an exhibition of the best photos of the 6th All-Ukrainian photo contest of the national project “A Safe Country”, which operates at the University.
During an online meeting with cadets, students of Kryvyi Rih School No. 69 learned about general road safety rules, the importance of using reflectors, and the need to use seat belts.
The higher education seekers reminded schoolchildren that the most precious thing of a person is his/her life and health, so everyone must follow traffic rules.
