March 12 is a tragic day for the residents of Kryvyi Rih. As a result of an enemy missile attack multi-storied buildings, kindergartens, schools and food stores were damaged in two districts of the city. The total number of victims of the Russian terrorist attack is 5 persons, another 43 were injured, including 12 children.
Many people lost their homes or were left without glass in their windows due to the shock wave. A cadet of the faculty of training specialists for the National Police units is among them. The University administration reacted to the situation immediately: on the same day, the DonSUIA helped to cover the windows of the cadet’s apartment with OSB sheets.
On March 13, the cadets continued their activity in support of the victims. 30 young men in both districts of the city helped the citizens whose apartments were destroyed. They carried building materials, boarded up windows, swept the glass.
Another 20 cadets of the faculty of training specialists for the National Police units donated blood for the wounded from the missile attack.
Those higher education seekers who are on an internship in the territorial units of the city police are currently on duty at the missile arrival sites.
The staff of the DonSUIA expresses its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and all those affected by the missile attack. May the memory of those whose lives were cut short by the war live forever.
