At the beginning of the meeting, the academic secretary of Academic Council Secretariat reported on the state of implementation of the University Academic Council decisions in the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.
Members of the Academic Council discussed the state of compliance with the legislation in the field of state secret protection, coverage of the DonSUIA activities on Internet resources and in mass media: analysis and prospects. They listened to the report of head of the University educational and methodical department on the results of training the University higher education seekers in the 1st semester of the 2024/2025 academic year and approved the University financial plan for 2025.
Those present considered the items on the agenda: conducting a competition for filling vacant positions of the DonSUIA scientific and pedagogical staff; establishing the cost of training drivers of vehicles and establishing the cost of living in a dormitory at the address: m. Kropyvnytskyi, str. Beliaieva, 17. They also approved the changes in the updated edition to the DonSUIA Regulations, the Professional Training Program for Upgrading Patrol Police Officers, as well as the Upgrading Program «Anti-corruption and Implementation of Integrity Standards in Public Service».
The Academic Council agreed: participation in the competition for the transfer of faculty No. 4 higher education seekers, who are studying at the expense of individuals and/or legal entities, to vacant positions among higher education seekers of faculties No. 1, 3 for the funds of the state budget of specialties 081 «Law», 262 «Law enforcement»; formation of one-time specialized academic councils for the defense of dissertations; expulsion of full-time post-graduate students.
The participants of the meeting approved: the structure of the commission on academic integrity, ethics and conflict management at the DonSUIA and the group for promoting academic integrity at the DonSUIA; the results of monitoring and survey regarding compliance with academic integrity at the DonSUIA; an updated structure of the editorial board of a scientific journal «Bulletin of the Luhansk Educational and Scientific Institute named after E. AT. Didorenko».
A monograph «Administrative and legal status of persons driving vehicles» as well as a reference and information publication: Research activities of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs: results for 2024 were recommended for publication.
