Representatives of the DonSUIA special physical and pre-medical training department held a number of sports events dedicated to the Defenders of Ukraine Day.
In particular, cadets of the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units together with the university teachers organized a championship in chess and drafts.
The purpose of the competition is to support mental and physical health of war veterans and the wounded undergoing treatment in one of the medical institutions of Kropyvnytskyi.
The participants of the game simultaneously worked out some exercises to develop fine motor skills of the hands and restore tactile sensations. The competition winners received memorable gifts.
Young law enforcement officers congratulated the defenders on the holiday, wished them quick recovery and had a walk with them.
Support to the veterans is provided within the framework of the projects “Friendly Support” and “Support to the displaced Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs,” implemented with the financial assistance of the European Union.
