The work of an all-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference “Protection and security of police units’ life activities in the conditions of the threat of using mass destruction weapons” was attended by scientists, police officers and higher education seekers.
The event was opened and on behalf of rector Serhii Vitvitskyi the participants were greeted by director of the Luhansk Educational and Scientific Institute named after E.O. Didorenko of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs Andrii Rybalkin.
The participants of the conference discussed current problems of the threat of Russia’s using mass destruction weapons and shared their work experience.
The theme “Preparation of police officers to respond to offenses related to sources of ionizing radiation”, presented by Serhii Pekarskyi, professor of the Department of Operational Investigation and Information Security of Faculty No. 3 of the DonSUIA caused special interest and discussion.
The participants of the All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference “Protection and security of police units’ life activities in the conditions of the threat of using mass destruction weapons” came to the conclusion that today there is a high probability of using weapons of mass destruction, but the units of the National Police of Ukraine are ready to perform the tasks of ensuring public safety and order in such conditions.
