The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs held a career orientation event for high school students of the Sokil Lyceum of the Kropyvnytskyi City Council.
Teachers and cadets presented the guests faculties and specialties and also informed about the admission requirements as well as prospects of studying at the higher education institution with specific learning conditions.
Experienced University instructors familiarized the lyceum students with the rules of safe handling of firearms and the algorithm of actions in emergency situations. Special attention was paid to providing first aid for injuries and bleeding.
Boys and girls also visited the multimedia shooting range, where they practiced shooting with an AK-74 assault rifle and an RPG-25 hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher.
The students were particularly interested in the multifunctional space designed to restore socio-psychological well-being and support the mental health of higher education seekers.
During the dialogue, the DonSUIA cadets answered all the questions asked by the lyceum students and invited them to join a friendly University team.
