On the basis of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, an open championship in practical shooting was held, timed to the 63rd anniversary of the educational institution establishment and the 3rd anniversary of its obtaining the University status.
48 representatives of 12 teams took part in the competition, including: higher education seekers and representatives of all structural units of the DonSUIA, the representatives of the Training center of the National Guard of Ukraine in the Kirovohrad region, the representatives of the “KORD” Office and the ІPPС of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kirovohrad region, the representatives of the rifle battalion of the 3011 military unit of the National Guard of Ukraine and those of the Security Police Department in the Kirovohrad region.
In a tense struggle in the personal competition, the first place was taken by the representative of the Training center Volodymyr Grygoriev, the second and the third places won the “KORD” representatives.
In the team championship, the Winners’ Cup was won by the “KORD” team, “silver” – by the Training center team.
The team of the faculty of training specialists for preventive activity units of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs became the bronze medalist of the championship.
