The second police station became operational in the Kirovohrad region as part of the “Community Police Officer” project implementation initiated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The opening was attended by the heads of the region and the city, district administration of the National Police and third-year students of the faculty of training specialists for preventive activity units of the DonSUIA.
The higher education seekers got acquainted with the work of the community defender who they would cooperate with during their educational practices. This will contribute to their acquisition of professional skills for the implementation of police activities focused on the needs of the local population. It will also help to establish a permanent contact with the residents in order to timely respond to community problems in and prevent crimes сommission.
