Higher education seekers of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation units and the faculty of training specialists for preventive activity units of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs met with Mykhailo Drobotenko, a participant in hostilities. In 2022, the serviceman of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade had lost his both legs near Severodonetsk, the Luhansk region.
Today Mykhailo takes an active part in the competitions for people with disabilities. He is an ambassador of the “Strong Ukraine” project. As a participant of Ukrainian veterans’ team, he set a strongman world record in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s international sports festival in Madrid Arnold Classic Europe.
The Ukrainian defender told the cadets about his service, injuries, rehabilitation and how going in for sports helped him come back to life.
