Students and cadets of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs met with a Ukrainian writer Olena Nadutenko.
The writer, head of the Kirovohrad Region Writers’ Union “Vitryla”, a political and public activist, is a laureate of the All-Ukrainian rating “Personality – 2006” in the nomination “Outstanding State and Public Figures” of the All-Ukrainian program “Women of Ukraine”. She was awarded the UN medal for assistance in overcoming local conflicts.
Olena Nadutenko talked about her creative achievements, obstacles to it, her inspiration. She recited poems, and provided advice for young writers.
The event was attended by the University scientists Olga Haborets, Olga Kuzmenko, and Tetiana Koliesnik. They spoke about their sources of inspiration for scientific activity and emphasized the importance of women’s self-realization in the modern world, where multifaceted personalities are needed.
Cadets and students asked questions about the writer’s poetry and took part in autograph and photo sessions. At the end of the meeting, Olena Nadutenko presented the DonSUIA library with the author’s books “Poetry of Anger” and “Fatal Character.”
The moderator of the event was Yulia Bahlai, acting director of the general library of the DonSUIA.
