Scientists of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs conducted lectures on practical implementation of international standards of child-friendly justice for the practitioners of the Donetsk region and higher education seekers.
In the course of specialized training, the following issues were raised: compliance with the principles of reasonable deadlines in criminal proceedings involving minors; peculiarities of interrogation tactics in criminal proceedings against minors; specialists’ engagement in the course of investigation involving minors; tactical peculiarities of conducting investigative (search) actions in criminal proceedings against minors.
In their reports, the lecturers focused the attention of the inquirers and investigators authorized to investigate in criminal proceedings regarding children who are in conflict and contact with the law, on the latest developments in the field of criminal procedure and forensics, as well as the basic standards for protecting the rights of children involved in the field of criminal proceedings.
