66 higher education seekers of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation units of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs are currently successfully undergoing their internship in the National Police territorial units of 15 regions of Ukraine.
Under the guidance of highly qualified police officers, future investigators, inquirers and criminologists take an active part in investigating crimes, carrying out operational and investigative measures, countering organized criminal groups and preventive work with the population. This contributes to their acquiring practical skills of interaction with citizens, conflict resolution and the development of efficient communication strategies in difficult conditions.
The faculty dean, Olha Kovaliova, emphasizes that internship is an integral part of training, as it helps young law enforcement officers to prepare for current challenges and learn to effectively apply theoretical knowledge in practice.
