Rector of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, police colonel Serhii Vitvitskyi, met with head of rear logistics of the 121st separate territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, lieutenant colonel Yaroslav Haidukov.
On behalf of Serhii Kara, head of the Myrolyubiv district of the Kherson region, the serviceman thanked Serhii Vitvitskyi for the help provided by the staff and cadets of the University to the children of de-occupied settlements in the district.
As part of the “Give a Child Childhood” campaign, representatives of the faculty of training specialists for preventive activities units of the DonSUIA collected and handed over to boys and girls: books, stationery, board and educational games, sports equipment, toys, food products, children’s clothes.
In the course of their dialogue, Serhii Vitvitskyi and Yaroslav Gaidukov also discussed further areas of cooperation: the prospect of opening at the DonSUIA a lyceum of security orientation supported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs for children of military personnel, police officers, members of the rank and file of the civil defense service, other staffers of security and defense sector bodies; implementation of the “Friendly Support” project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine at the University; participation of higher education seekers and representatives of scientific and teaching staff in sports and rehabilitation initiatives for veterans of the Kirovohrad region and the Dnipropetrovsk region, other volunteer initiatives.
