Higher education seekers of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs took part in the information session “How to ensure public security and order in the community?”
The moderator of the event was the regional coordinator of the All-Ukrainian initiative “Active Community” of the Republic Institute in Kropyvnytskyi Anatolii Stoian.
The participants of the meeting analyzed the programs of the Kropyvnytskyi City Council: on the prevention of emergency situations and elimination of their consequences for 2022-2024; “Safe City” program for 2024-2026 on crime prevention and its countermeasures; activities of the city of Kropyvnytskyi voluntary squad for 2022–2024. They also outlined strategic, operational goals and objectives in the context of ensuring security and order in the community.
As part of practice, the DonSUIA cadets and students performed a SWOT analysis exercise, which made it possible to assess merits and drawbacks of security in Kropyvnytskyi.
The event took place on the basis of the Kirovohrad Regional Library for Youth named after E.Malaniuk according to the All-Ukrainian initiative “Active Community” of the Republic Institute, which is implemented within the framework of the “Formation of a local vision for the restoration of Ukraine” project, with the support of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and funding from the National Fund for the Support of Democracy (NFSD).
