Ceremonial line-up, introduction of the National Flag, performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine, festive march, greetings from the University administration- this is the way DonSUIA has celebrated the 32nd anniversary of Ukraine’s independence.
This year, University first-year cadets mark the holiday in a new status. They have put on police uniforms and united their professional future with the future of Ukraine. It is up to them to revive, build and defend the new independent state.
Before the holiday, a mural was opened in KESI DonSUIA in memory of Oleksandr Matsiievskyi, the soldier of Ukrainian Armed Forces, who was shot by Russian soldiers after saying “Glory to Ukraine”. It was created by the cadets, with the support of the University administration.
