Kateryna Udod, an anti-corruption commissioner of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, took part in the session on developing Integrity Strategy in education.
Its organizer was the Office of Integrity of the National Agency for Preventing Corruption with the support of the Anti-Corruption Initiative of the European Union in Ukraine (EUACI).
The event was attended by: head of the NAPC Ihor Khokhych; head of the department of developing capacity and public sector integrity of the NAPC Office of the Integrity Iryna Tymchenko; director general of Vocational Pre-Higher and Higher Education Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine Oleg Sharov, as well as experts from the Integrity Office of the National Academy of Sciences, representatives of higher education institutions, student self-government and the public.
The participants of the session discussed the main challenges and priorities for creating a transparent and honest educational environment, forming the vision of integrity in the field of higher education.
Based on the results of the strategic session, practical recommendations for educational institutions and management bodies will be developed.
The DonSUIA shares the NAPC concepts and recognizes the importance of developing integrity in higher education, which contributes to the formation of a responsible society and increasing trust in the state institutions.
