Violeta, a student of the DonSUIA Driving School for Persons with Disabilities, was the first among her fellow students to pass a theoretical exam for driver training.
When she was a teenager, the girl was hit by a train and had her lower limb amputated. Violeta has always dreamed of driving a car and today she took the first step towards realizing her goal.
Currently, under the guidance of experienced instructors, the student is acquiring driving skills in a specialized car and is preparing to take a practical exam to obtain a category “B” driver’s license.
The project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “Driving School for Persons with Disabilities” is being implemented with the support of partners within the framework of the nationwide initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska “Without Barriers”.
