The rector of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, Serhii Vitvitskyi, and the professor of the Department of Economic and Legal Disciplines and Economic Security, Lyudmyla Nikolenko, who are members of the EPLO Board of Directors, joined its annual online meeting.
Politicians, lawyers, scientists, and statesmen from different countries of the world took part in the meeting.
Spyrydon Flohaitis the organization director welcomed the participants and spoke about the activities of the EPLO during the reported period. The members of the Board of Directors were also congratulated by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk. He emphasized the importance and necessity of cooperation of Ukrainian institutions with the EPLO.
The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs is a member of the European Public Law Organization — the EPLO. The purpose of this respected organization is to create and disseminate the knowledge in the field of public law, including national, comparative and European public law, human rights, environmental law, international law, etc.
To achieve its goals, the EPLO promotes cooperation with other institutions and organizations, organizes and supports scientific research and educational activities aimed at training young people and improving the level of training specialists in the field of law and management, strengthening democratic institutions in Europe and the world over through the development of cooperation and providing legal consultations to national authorities.
