At the general meeting of the University staff, the DonSUIA rector, police colonel Serhii Vitvitskyi, summed up the activities of the higher education institution with specific study conditions for 2023-2024 academic year and outlined strategic fields of work for further period.
“Undoubtedly, all the achievements that we have today are, firstly, the result of painstaking work of our staff which showed unity and sustainability in the face of threats and challenges, and secondly, the result of support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs administration, representatives of authorities at all levels, a powerful team of our friends and a wide range of international partners,” noted Serhii Vitvitskyi.
The DonSUIA rector emphasized that despite the martial law, the University managed to achieve significant results in all spheres of its activity. Thus, during the academic year, the University actively worked on modernization of the educational process, implementation of research projects aimed at solving current problems of internal affairs and law and order in Ukraine.
We have a positive trend of publications in the leading international scientific editions, which are included in the Web of Science (WOS) and Scopus scientometric databases. According to the results of expert assessment, the DonSUIA scientific periodicals are included in 6 international scientometric databases.
The University team’s work was duly recognized by international partners – the University received the Triple E Awards with the submitted project “Friendly Support” and has permanent support for the implementation of the new ones.
The University scientific and pedagogical staff provided high indicators of innovation, and interactivity, as well as of a practical component of the educational process.
The DonSUIA rector thanked his colleagues for their fruitful work and advised not to stop there. He presented the University Development Strategy for 2024-2028, in which he outlined the main strategic goals and objectives with key indicators of their achievement.
