As part of a working visit to the Kirovohrad region, a delegation of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, headed by deputy head of the NACP, Serhii Gupiak, visited the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
He thanked the DonSUIA rector Serhii Vitvitskyi for his active participation in the initiatives and presented him an award from Viktor Pavlushchyk, head of the NACP, for the successful implementation of the “Transparent Universities” project. The main goal of the project is formation of integrity culture in higher education institutions and creation of an efficient corruption prevention system.
“It is extremely important for our University to be an example in implementing the principles of integrity and transparency, because we educate higher education seekers from all regions of Ukraine. Our institution continues to work on creating an environment where there is no place for corruption, where students and cadets acquire not only knowledge, but also the values that will become the foundation of their professional activities,” emphasized Serhii Vitvitskyi.
Serhii Gupiak met with the University higher education seekers. He focused on the importance of anti-corruption culture and shared his experience in this area.
During University excursion, the guests admitted the University achievements, an innovative approach to organizing an educational process and creating a comfortable and technologically equipped environment for students and cadets. Serhii Gupiak emphasized that such examples are important for a positive image formation of the educational institutions in the system of law enforcement bodies.
This visit was another step in strengthening the partnership between the DonSUIA and the NACP aimed at the development of modern anti-corruption education in Ukraine.
