The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs published the work of senior researcher of the research laboratory on the problems of criminal offenses prevention of the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units, doctor of legal sciences, professor Yevhen Pysmenskyi.
The monograph “Criminal-legal problems of countering collaborative activity” is based on the results of consistent and systematic study of numerous scientific sources that have appeared in legal literature in recent years; materials of regulatory work, criminological and sociological studies; law enforcement practices.
The author found out the legal nature of collaborationism as a specific social phenomenon, summarized domestic, foreign, historical approaches to the legal regulation of responsibility for committing collaborative activities and identified and comprehensively solved a number of theoretical and applied issues of criminal law response to the specified behavior. He also developed a doctrinal basis for the formation of a new normative model of the criminal law prohibition of collaborative activity by formulating proposals aimed at improving criminal legislation and practice of its application.
Yevhen Pysmenskyi focused his attention on issues that, in his opinion, are the key and urgent ones at the current stage of the national science of criminal law development, as well as law-making and law enforcement. In his work, having taken into account the achievements of legal doctrine, he ensured the optimal ratio of coverage of fundamental criminal legal problems and pragmatic issues of interpretation and improvement of the criminal legal norm on responsibility for collaborative activity.
The monograph is intended for higher education seekers (of all levels), scientific and pedagogical staff, those working at law enforcement bodies, human rights defenders, lawyers, judges, as well as anyone interested in the problems of modern criminal law of Ukraine.
